We Need Your Help A plan is afoot to restore / upgrade Elder Farm, especially the derelict B-Listed building / Fairfield Steadings, gifted to the people of Greater Govan by Lady Elder.
Her concerns were the health and well-being of the community. The bottom line is that the building is in danger of being demolished and needs to be fixed. But what should be the end result? One or a Combination? Perhaps you have another idea to send us? Current options offered to us are : A Building School A Museum An Eco Community Center Facilities for Park Users A Catering School A Combination of Any of All Currently National Trust are looking into eco solutions for their properties – training in this field might give our local workers a kick start when the work comes in We have included some image of what the building might look like to inspire you - hate it? love it? have a better idea? What do you think would benefit the community as Lady Elder intended? Please invite your families, neighbours and friends to fill in this questionnaire - Ideas and comments are welcome – and please send contact details to elderfarm.govan@gmail.com if you wish to know more. Each person should mark as many boxes as they like
