The Government is set on empowering the community
COSLA (Convention of Scottish Local Authorities) have set up an action plan with the Scottish Government
"Our approach to Governing Scotland is underpinned
by the belief that the people of this country can, and should, take increased responsibility for the issues that affect our nation. It is through our own people’s efforts that we will achieve our shared single purpose of increased sustainable economic growth that will benefit all of Scotland.etc etc"
